ArtistX linux distro

Excellent linux distro based on ubuntu (but without unity) that comes with a massive collection of creative software and recent versions of modern LV2 and Gimp, saves much installation and setting up time, highly recommended.

Making the most of insomnia

Can't sleep at the moment so may as well do some more programming, now the preset loader seems to work okay I'm making it so sounds can be saved on the fly and appear in the list straight away, should make creating new sounds quicker and more fluid.

___________________________________________

Now updated to v0.1.6 - To save a preset click "New preset" at the bottom left and type a name for it, press enter and it will be saved (to ~/.lv2/) and added to the list, if anyone has ideas on how to make the interface more intuitive let me know, will have some documentation in PDF format finished soon hopefully (have done the first few pages).

Triceratops V0.1.5 released

Another update to include a preset loader within the plugin, presets saved to the local directory will show a "." before the file name, preset list can be scrolled up or down by right clicking the arrows either side of the word "preset" just above the list, right clicking the list updates the list, there are also some minor cosmetic changes, I'm working on documentation at the moment that hopefully will make using the synth a bit easier as some of the features are not that obvious, selecting destination routes for modulation example.

triceratops LV2 v0.1.4 out (well a few days ago really)

Uploaded a new version a few days ago forgot to post it here so here it is, should be slightly less CPU load plus ring modulation to play about with, still some problems with the built in echo/reverb where if they're overloaded sound can cut out until they're disabled, annoying and I will fix it soon grrr.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/triceratops/

for the next few days I'll rest from Triceratops to work on some simple glitchy effects plug ins, watch this space.
